You may hear it called “Bob’s” by the locals—this is my favorite spot to spend a day on the river. Rent kayaks or canoes, or float if that’s your style. They’ll take you upriver (with various lengths and time commitments), drop you and your vessel off, and you’ll spend the day making your way back. Once returned, grab a burger and Spotted Cow on the patio overlooking the water.
